Eu estou otimista. Ronaldo "Fenômeno" voltando a jogar um bom futebol, achar vagas para estacionar o carro está sendo fácil (não sei porque) e Fuel traz a tona o velho e bom estilo arcade nas corridas. Desenvolvido pela Asobo Studios (responsável pelos games de Ratatouille e Wall-E)  e distribuído pela Codemasters, Fuel mostra um futuro com o clima bem alterado. Ele é perigoso, degradativo, devastado e com desastres climáticos acentuados. É o pior pesadelo de Al Gore e dos simpatizantes da natureza, mas quando Fuel chegar as lojas você agradecerá por tudo isso. O jogo será lançado no dia 12 de maio de 2009 para PC, XBox 360 e PS3 .

Jogos recentes de corrida tem trabalhado bastante com um olhar diferenciado, explorando perseguições policiais e batidas em slow motion. Mas Fuel traz de volta o simples e feliz objetivo de ultrapassar a linha de chegada na frente dos outros. Nele, você jogará ao redor do mundo com até 16 jogadores online, com belos visuais e com a jogabilidade de um arcade.

A Asobo Studios tem trabalhado bastante para fazer de Fuel o jogo de corrida mais expansivo da história. Os desenvolvedores prometeram entregar o ambiente mais vasto para um console. Os vídeos apresentados indicam isso mesmo. No começo do desenvolvimento, Asobo expressava que queria algo do tamanho dos Estados Unidos. Mas ao começar a trabalhar no jogo, a desenvolvedora preferiu selecionar os melhores lugares do país. O resultado é intrigante, jogadores vão passar por platôs e o Grand Canyon no lado sudoeste do mapa, deslizarão nos terrenos congelados do norte e desviarão de tornados na região central.
